Summary
As he adjusts to his new life as Overwatch’s freshest recruit, Mizuki is unsure of where he belongs. Grappling with the guilt of lying to his friends in the Yōkai, especially Kiriko, he is continuously haunted by the memories of Shion’s torment although he’s escaped her grasp… for now.
When he starts to spend more time with the other new recruits, he finds solace in new friends as well as a certain adept martial artist. However, there’s always the underlying fear his past will catch up with him. And despite everything, he can’t just forget about Kiriko. Will Mizuki find it in himself to move on, or will his past catch up and swallow him whole?

Ramattra did not understand the Gwishin; he could not lay claim to their destruction. That, he imagined, was Anubis’ doing. But he hated Anubis, and so, he supposed, he could hate the Gwishin with her. It was the least he could offer.
