“They can’t kick you out! You’re an imperial scholar. I would take the bolt for you. There are no bears in this city, so just don’t leave it. And I—I’m becoming someone powerful. So nothing will happen to you.”

He likes to hold her while he sleeps, and even though it’s admittedly sort of strange for her, she has yet to turn him down when he asks. And he always asks permission, no matter what it is. It’s always constant questions with him, and maybe that’s why she’s so alright with it.
Maybe that’s why she hasn’t run away just yet.
(She’s sure it has nothing to do with the way his voice sounds first thing in the morning, or the look on his face when she tells him stories of her months at sea, the peculiar and overwhelming sense like a second skin that he’ll always be waiting for her, or the feeling of his mouth on hers, or the way he says her name. With a whisper, she is pushed and pulled in a bright shine of light, and left blinking in disorientation as she discovers that she is standing, that she has feet, a body, a spirit, a name.
“Kichi,” her master says her name, hand outstretched and lips pulled into a soft, knowing smile. “You may call me Father.”

However things don’t go as planned when she runs into Lotor in the lift. -Takes place almost immediately after s5e3, "Postmortem" (rewritten on 03/26/18 to make it canon compliant and to fix some parts I was not happy with)
Chapter Two: After the previous evening's events, Allura feels she must clear the air between Lotor and herself for the sake of their alliance. Takes place almost immediately before s5e4, "Kral Zera".
Chapter Three: As they work on the third comet ship, things finally come to a head between Lotor and Allura. Canon compliant through Season 6; Episode 2.
How things should have been...how they can now never be...how they will always be in my heart...
