Shane approaches the window slowly. He’s not on Earth. He’s very much not on Earth.
He’s adrift in deep space, surrounded by an utter ocean of stars. It’s nothing like the view from Earth. He can tell exactly how far away every lonely flickering ball of gas is, and they’re very, very far away.
On his left, a series of monitors come to life, one displaying a map.
“You have arrived at Tau Ceti. Engine shutoff in 5 days, 13 hours, and 23 minutes. Current distance from Earth: 11.9 light years.”
Fuck. He’s so fucked.
When Shane finds himself in outer space, missing all his memories and armed with strict orders to solve the scientific conundrum threatening to extinguish all of humanity, he doesn't quite know where to begin. Good thing he's met a rock-shaped alien who might be able to help him... in more ways than one.

Saki detaches from her tackle-hug with a grin. “It's been so long since I saw you! I'm so tired of being without you guys. Now, all we have to do is find the other two and we'll be all good again!”
Right on cue, Ichika and Shiho walk around the corner - and are promptly almost knocked over by another hug from Saki. Even Shiho, normally so hug-averse, returns it immediately.
Ichika reaches out and pulls Honami into the hug too. Honami smiles, secure in the knowledge of their strong bond.
“I don't get it.”
Akito. Ugh.
Leo/need's relationship only grows stronger as they make their way through high school, facing trials and tribulations in the form of their classmates.

After some in-depth online sleuthing (read: looking at Leo/need’s Instagram page), Minori had found the exact Great Escape location the Leo/need members had gone to and booked a different room of the same difficulty there.
“Yes, I’m sure!” Minori responds, eager to soothe Haruka’s worried expression. Then she reconsiders. “Maybe. Probably?”
“It’s fine,” Airi juts in. “Never fear, because Airi’s here!”
“And Shizuku!” Shizuku adds excitedly, smashing her fist into the air and almost knocking it into a decorative tree.
The members of More More JUMP! fail to learn from Leo/need's mistakes.

“There is literally a mirror on the wall right here,” Shiho deadpans.
Saki steps back. “Oh.”
Leo/need go to an escape room and actually do a decent job, surprisingly enough.
