A long while ago, you'd have been able to claim that the purple rabbit across the hall was your friend.
Time passed, and people changed, and eventually that wasn't your title to use anymore.
Nowadays, he pretends. He plays games with the others and dances around his problems as though he gets paid for it. Never sharing specifics, never detailing any sort of information that clues you in to his anguish.
It's a bit of a tragedy, really.
