The sexual relationships in this story do not begin on a healthy foundation, but they magically make it to a healthy place in a way that probably wouldn’t happen in real life. Sam is not in a position to consent, his consent is not sought out, and he recovers way too quickly from past sexual assault. You weren't secretive about it, and each of them was slightly different from the others, but that little fact was always present. Always hanging in the air around you when you were with any of them. If any of them didn't like it, they would never tell you. After all, it was kind of their fault that you had this strange shared relationship.
