Summary
The post-game party is a tradition if you count two years and counting as enough repetition to make it a thing. It always follows the Gears’ first game of the season, and they haven’t yet had a starting loss to bring the mood down, so it’s something of a superstition now, too. Jayce always hosts, not because his place is nicest but because it’s accessible, and it’s the second biggest- the Kiramman house is very adamantly off limits.
“I haven’t forgotten,” Caitlyn says, smoothing out the wrinkles in her jersey from all the jostling, “I’ll meet you there once I’m presentable.”
Fuck. She’s so hot in uniform.
“We’ll meet you there,” Vi says, already walking, “Later, suckers.”
