Summary
After surviving the events at Eden, Jong Woo wants nothing more than to return to Busan and move on with his life. He feels he's earned a break after the ordeal he just went through. But before he can so much as book his ticket home, all hell breaks loose.
The dead rise from their graves.
Unsurprisingly, the world is promptly plunged into chaos, forcing Jong Woo to once again fight for his life — this time against the undead. Which would have been bad enough all on its own but, as an added bonus, Jong Woo has to deal with the low, seductive whispers in his head and the flickering shadows in his peripheral. And, after a while, Jong Woo begins to wonder if that tall, familiar silhouette he keeps glimpsing truly is a hallucination or if it might just be the real thing.
How can he know for sure when the dead are most definitely walking?

Summary
Set after the tragedy of Eden, Jong-woo leaves the hospital and moves into a wealthy, suburban town with Moon-jo, leaving their old life behind to start anew. They become toxic murder husbands, while Moon-jo constantly challenges and puts him on edge, Jong-woo struggles to assimilate in his new life and find his true self.
Literally, I was inspired by the plot of YOU Season 3 on Netflix where they move in as a couple into a suburban neighborhood, except they're hiding a dark secret.
It follows similar concepts such as Jong-woo feeling cornered, wanting to sign a lease to a new studio, killing someone with an axe, wanting to start a family and trying to go to couples therapy.

Just come over! It’s Christmas, and the last time you saw any of the family was at Thanksgiving 3 years ago. We’re your family, sweetheart, we’re supposed to be together for the holidays. You shouldn’t be spending them alone in your apartment with a cheap fake tree you bought at Lowe’s. Give me one good reason why you can’t come home, no shoddy excuses.” Cynthia said with finality.
On the other line, Paul let out a shaky sigh, then went quiet for a minute.

“Percy,” The music was turned down considerably. “Would you like to join Gambit?” He asked as Percy poked his head back out from behind the doorway. Percy hesitated, eyes wide as he looked into the kitchen. He took a hesitant step out from the doorway, though his hand was holding tight to the doorway. His other hand was shaking slightly as he looked around carefully.
It was his first time in the kitchen since he’d been brought to the ‘X-Men Mansion’ or ‘X-Mansion’. He’d always avoided the kitchen unless someone carried him in, usually to eat since he rarely would walk there on his own.
Percy swallowed anxiously as his eyes darted around before settling on ‘Gambit’ who was crouching down with a hand stretched out to him. There was still considerable distance between the two, which Percy was thankful for. While he liked ‘Gambit’ far more than anyone else in the mansion, he was still terrified of him.
Percy didn’t understand the look on his face, but it wasn’t anger or distaste or anything that Percy had seen Gabe express. It took a moment to place it, but he saw his mama with that expression once. It was soft, kind, and it felt reassuring.

Can she change the future or will the world she grew up dreaming be doomed to destruction?This story literally started because I (who loves the Hobbit and LOTR but doesn't know a whole lot about Tolkien's other works) was like "If it's called Middle-Earth, that implies there are other Earths." So here we are.

Jongwoo relaxed some of his tense muscles, however his ego is far too high to completely relax in the man below's arms. He'll never give in. He'll never let Moonjo take his remaining sanity. But nothing in the rulebook says he can't steal the rest of Moonjo's first.
A short story in which Jongwoo hallucinates, writes, falls asleep, dreams, and wakes up only to realize he had been sitting on Moonjo's lap the entire time and wasn't hallucinating after all.

“When did you start?” Moonjo asks. They’ve finished eating and Moonjo has gotten comfortable, stretched out with his head on a pillow on the floor. Jongwoo leans back against the cool glass of his balcony door and hums under his breath.
“The army?” he says hesitantly. Moonjo turns and looks at him. “I didn’t do my first then. A couple of the guys I was with, they started this fighting ring. Got my ass handed to me the first few times, but the money was good. Taught myself to fight then. You?”
“Nine,” Moonjo says. He raises his hand and picks at his nails without getting up. “Not intentionally. I liked fires as a boy.”
Jongwoo pictures it; a boy, tall for his age, with limp black hair too long, black eyes, watching a house go up in fire. The light flickers against pale skin and he covers his mouth with a sleeve and coughs. When Jongwoo returns to himself, Moonjo has rolled over and is watching him. “Your imagination is incredible,” Moonjo says, nothing short of admirable. Jongwoo flushes.
