Keeho propped himself up against the cool kitchen island, crossing his legs over one another with a smirk spread across his face. “Now, the last time you went to that shop, I told you to bring me back a souvenir.”
Jongseob stopped in his tracks, his hand just barely over the knob of the front door. “Are you fucking kidding me? A souvenir?”
The bite in his voice was real, and it was raw with the annoyance consuming his body. “The shop is right down the road.” Jongseob turned around to face Keeho, the hand on the strap of his shoulder bag tightening in frustration. He popped his hip out, his free hand coming to rest gently against his side. “I’m not wasting my money on you of all people.”
A half-kidding gasp choked from Keeho’s throat, standing upright and throwing his hands to his sides. “Oh, you little shit. You can’t do that to me!” His eyebrows deepened above his eyes, that nasty scowl reflecting onto Jongseob.

Summary
Taeyang paused, moving closer until his forehead was touching Intaks, their breaths intermingling and Taeyang's warmth palpable. He pressed the ghost of a kiss to Intak's lips, the pure heat enough to send Intak spiraling.
"Happy-" Taeyang moved into properly kiss Intak now, barely pushing their lips together before moving back. "Happy birthday Intak, you know that I.."
"Taeyang?" Intak was truly, utterly puzzled.
"You know I love you, I know I was kind of joking on stage because, well, the fans, but I like you, love you, a lot. I can tell you wanted me to say it earlier, but I was… I don't know. I'm sorry."
Tears were visible, welling up in Taeyang's eyes as he spoke.

After a drug trip gone wrong, Shota has gained the ability to see how many days left each person has on their life. Actually, he's not sure what that strange little counter is above his best friend's head, but everyone thinks he's crazy when he mentions it, and before he knows it... Keeho is dead, when his clock reaches zero.
Now Shota is trying to start over, with both his life of drugs and his stint in rehab behind him. Still, the numbers remain, and Shota can't look at one in the single digits without wanting to cry.

“Are you okay?” Keeho asked, following slowly, his face contorted with worry. “Do you not know what day it is?”
“No, I know the day,” Jongseob replied. He pointed at the day that was marked out with red crosses. “It’s the 14th.” He moved his finger up so it was pointing at the month. “Of August.”
Keeho blinked in surprise. “Okay…? Then what’s wrong?”
Jongseob swallowed thickly, turning to look at the gym’s owner. His vision swam slightly, lagging behind a moment as he moved his head. He felt dizzy. “The year. This calendar says it’s 2026. But that’s not true, it can’t be.”
Something hardened in Keeho’s eyes. “What year do you think it is?”
“1986,” Jongseob replied.
