You knew to speak little of yourself, you knew never to disobey the orders the head maids gave you, and always to know your place. Almost as if they treated you no different than a dog. So to speak, it was your life, and the reason why the head maids kept you alive. But little did you know you'd become the interest of the Lords that would arrive once a century.
The Lords you- the maids cared the mansion for. Fighting battles and travelling from one land to another consistently, they needed a place to rest, therefore the purpose of the mansion resting on Mt. Ebott. And since these maids were more than ecstatic for the upcoming arrival of these lords, you were wise to avoid them. Sorta.
Who knew dressing and acting differently would only attract unwanted attention? And they sure had a bone to pick with you.
