"Can I–" Yuji scratched his neck, the words dying in his mouth. "Would you… Mind giving me your notes?"
Dreaming wasn't a crime, but maybe it should be for Itadori Yuji, who took it way too far.
Or, Yuji is a high school student by day, a part-time superhero at night, and a fully employed fool. Thankfully, Megumi had always liked that side of him.

Summary
Panda crashes the cymbals, and Inumaki’s part begins. Megumi glances up at the audience. As always, the crowd responds instantly to Inumaki’s voice, some swaying and some singing along.
“Show me, show me, show me how you do that trick,
The one that makes me scream, she said…”
Then Megumi sees Yuuji Itadori’s amazed brown eyes in the crowd, and it’s like the entire band goes quiet.

“You okay?” Megumi asks, calm as can be. Still, he only squeezes tighter, a slow increase of the pressure, like he’s trying to push Yuuji into giving up. He holds him very still, and so close. “You need to tap out yet?”
Yuuji can’t even try to shake his head. His eyes flutter, then close again. “Tell you when,” he wheezes, and just hopes it’s comprehensible enough. He can’t get himself to let go of Megumi’s arm. His vision is definitely starting to blur. Stupidly, he doesn’t want this to stop.
Megumi asks Yuuji if he can practice chokeholds on him. Yuuji, against his better judgement, agrees... and finds out he enjoys it far more than he thought he would.

It's a strange question, and Yuuji has never been in love before, so he doesn't have any reference. But the feelings inside him are unlike anything he's ever felt before, and he's desperate for answers.
"I'm not sure the word is big enough," Megumi replies.
"What word is big enough?" Yuuji asks.
Megumi is silent for a long moment, and Yuuji wonders if he's even going to answer.
"I need you," Megumi finally says. "I need you in an unhealthy, obsessive way. I need you more than I've ever needed anything. I think that's the word."

Summary

Yuuji lets out a little hum. One of his feet silently taps the air.
Suddenly, it clicks. Why that guy, his not-brother, had hired him. Why even Megumi finds himself warming up to him. He doesn’t want anything out of anyone—except for a bit of company.
Lying next to the boy with pink hair, the mountains are just mountains, the stars are just stars, and the flowers are just flowers, but they’re simply there, vivid and real in a way Megumi can’t remember them ever being. It’s as if he’s taken a step forward and finds himself, for the first time in a long time, sitting in his own skin. Skin that’s warm and inviting and that he doesn’t mind being in.
Or, in which Megumi moves back home after college, drained, disillusioned, and depressed, to find a new presence taking up space—one that belongs to a boy who teaches him to see color again, to breathe easy again, to be himself again, all without even trying to. Yet, it'll take more than the hand of another to pull Megumi out of the hole he's fallen into.

For one thing, Fushiguro isn't attracted to his soulmate, Okkotsu Yuta, no matter how hard he tries. For another, Fushiguro's pretty sure he had an ankle monitor back on Earth at last check. This isn't even touching the fact that the person he DOES find himself drawn to, Itadori Yuuji, is his cousin's soulmate.
