"Now, I know you’ll resist," Mike blurts out, stepping toward him. "But I think this will be good. For both of us! For when we... you know,” Mike trails off, “When we get partners.”
Will scoffs, stepping closer to inspect the titles.
Spill or Sip and Truth, Dare, or Strip.
Or: Mike suggests a spicy card game to help Will loosen up before college. It works a little too well, and suddenly they’re gambling with unresolved feelings, and clothes, that were meant to stay in place.

Will’s ears are running hot and he feels a blush creeping over his cheeks. Just Mike being this close to him drives him crazy, there’s no way he’d survive this.
“I mean, you’ve seen me naked before-“
“When we were like eight, Mike!” Will exclaims, not letting the idea of a naked Mike in front of him invade his mind too much.
“Yeah, but we’re best friends,” He says, brushing one of his curls behind his ear, “I don’t think it would be 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 weird.”

Suddenly, Mike hears the most captivating sound he thinks he’s ever heard. During Mike’s attack, Will’s shirt had ridden up barely a couple of inches, meaning that Mike just pressed his shockingly cold fingers to Will’s bare, warm, sensitive stomach and holy shit–
A half gasp, quarter laugh, quarter groan escapes from Will’s lips. Mike’s jaw drops and he rips his hands away from Will like the bare skin burned him. The sound echoes in Mike’s ears in his hyperfocused state.
“Are–are you okay? Did I hurt you?” Mike comes to his senses and pushes himself up onto his hands, staring at Will in a blurry squint. Will takes a moment before rustling around and handing Mike his glasses back.
“No… no. Your hands are just really cold,” he breathes out a laugh, “I wasn’t expecting it. It’s so hot in here, I didn’t think your hands could be that cold. It… felt kinda nice.”
OR;
Mike realizes how badly he wants his best friend when he accidentally discovers that Mike's cold hands turn him on.
