Summary
A summer charity gala in Detroit throws Quinn Hughes and Joe Burrow into the same orbit, even though neither has any idea who the other is. One polite introduction turns into a night of unexpected ease, the kind that settles under the skin in a way neither of them can name. They tell themselves it's nothing more than a surprisingly good conversation. They tell themselves they will forget about it.
They don't.
Soon, there are texts at midnight, shared jokes, “accidental” meetups, and long silences that feel like confessions. They become the one person the other can breathe around without realizing how dangerous that is. They blame the off-season, then geography, then coincidence, but the gravity only grows stronger.
Both are leaders under pressure. Both live their lives on camera. Both are convinced the spark between them is harmless.
They're wrong.

Summary
When Jake is traded to the Bills at the start of the season, Bradley faces the loss of one of his best targets downfield and his best friend 7 hours out of reach. This would be hard enough as it is, except Bradley is also hit with the realization he's been in love with Jake and is a complete fool about the whole ordeal.
Jake fell first. Bradley fell harder, with the cataclysmic drama only a NFL starting quarterback could be capable of.

Atlantis, Derek Nurse's debut poetry novel and personally-published chapbook, was released on the 14th of February, 2025, for online distribution.
While fans have long debated the primary subject of the novel- the redheaded boy the poet is in love with - Derek Nurse, till date, has never so much as divulged if the subject is even real.
But certain resemblances to a certain red-haired college contemporary are hard to ignore.A special edition was later compiled by the poet, with personal observations and anecdotes, for the express purpose of gifting it to his sister.
