Summary
An all but failed Jedi padawan and an elite Null ARC Trooper find themselves at cross purpose on the planet of Coruscant during the height of Fete week celebrations, leading to a series of adventures that take us through the levels of Coruscant for a tense thriller noir styled adventure, full of action, intrigue, and a little dash of romance.
So this started as a little Noir style military fiction short story, Based in the world of Karen Travis's Republic Commando series.
I wanted to focus on a small intrigue adventure with a pair of Original Characters but it rapidly expanded into a trio of adventure stories that happen in the background of the novels. I love "In the margins" style stories that happen side by side with the main storylines of legends and modern canon. Star Wars is such a full expanded world that weaving tales in those margins is so much fun!I have the full trio of stories written and a couple of interludes that go inbetween. I am going to be updating a chapter or so every few until its done. I have several more stories already in the works and I plan to continue a long running series.

Now that he had thought about it all by himself, this seemed like the best way to convince his friend to help him. James looked up at Sirius with wide eyes like a dog who’d just heard the word “treat”. Remus swiveled his head to Sirius with a more angry expression and wide eyes that said, “THIS IS NOT WHAT WE TALKED ABOUT!”.
“I’d love to!” James answered, placing down his fork and giving Sirius his full attention.
“Well then,” Sirius continued, ignoring the stern look Remus was giving him. “I have a job for you.” Sirius paused, considering if doing this was really the right thing. He knew it was all for good, that it was going to help his brother, but a part of him felt like it was deceiving, like he was lying to Regulus. Too late to turn back now. “I need you to befriend my brother.”"***
Regulus doesn't have any friends, prompting Sirius to worry for his brother's future. Hoping James will be a good influence, Sirius hires him to hang out with Regulus.
