Regret is a quiet shadow that follows them, often appearing when the world is still and thoughts grew loud. It's the weight of words unsaid, choices not made, or actions taken too quickly. Sometimes it lingers over lost time, over moments they wished they could replay, rewrite, or simply pause. But while regret can sting, it also teaches.
Hopefully, it isn't too late to fix everything that happened as the sun that used to be their center seems to orbit another galaxy.
