Summary
George’s heart dropped.
“Please tell me you have an explanation for this.”
A familiar cardboard box lay out on the bathroom tiles with Sapnap hovering over it, a flap folded open to clearly show the contents. Five or six small plastic bags, like the ones you’d find in a hospital on an IV drip, filled with a deep red liquid.

Summary
“Morning.”
The blond man passed by his seat again, along the fence-line, in the backyard of his family home that adjoined their stretch of private beach. It wasn’t private, really, but it also wasn’t easily accessible, so people never really bothered going up there.
George’s lips curled up knowingly without raising his eyes. “Morning.”
Every day, George sits in his yard by the beach reading a book. And every day, at the same time, a surfer walks past and greets him.

Summary
He could feel Hasan’s grip on the base of his throat, dragging him towards the jagged glass edges of the hole he’d blown in the side of the building. Vibrations from the explosion still echoed painfully in his head. He could feel the cold air whip across his skin in blows, could feel the drop in his stomach that came just before a fall-

Summary
It was commonly said that if a person wasn’t found within 48 hours, the chances of finding them at all were cut in half. And that was just for civilians in their every-day settings; it didn’t account for soldiers in a warzone, where the probability of them being dead in a ditch somewhere within the first hour was much higher.
Soap’s unit had returned to the military base without him, without half of their troops that were killed in action. But all of the dead were accounted for, all of them had been identified - all except their sergeant, still missing in action.

Summary
“Does anyone here know fahrenheit?”
It was a stupid question for three Brits and a Scot. Gaz dug through the medical kit, mumbling something about a user manual - Soap didn’t really hear him with his ears burning red from embarrassment at the whole situation.
“Take yer time, won’t you? I’m having a gae ol’ time here.”
Soap passes out from heat stroke while on a mission in Egypt. Unfortunately for him, the only thermometer they have isn’t one that goes in his mouth.

Summary
He could see George's teeth – his perfect front teeth, like little iridescent seashells pressed to his gums – working at his lip. Not biting it, not the harsh mean pressure Dream had put on himself a million times, just rubbing against it. It felt the same way that it did when George clutched his hands together. A safety thing. And Dream thought back to scraggly hoodie strings lit by New Years fireworks.
Dream had never been good at moving from place A to place B. It always felt awkward and stilted and like he was two seconds from tripping over his own feet. Maybe that’s why he and George had been stumbling over what their relationship was becoming for months now. But asking George if he wanted Dream to put his fingers in his mouth only felt like the next natural step, he supposed.

Summary
“Couldn’t we have paid Manager Ken to do this?” George grumbled next to him, barely an inch of skin visible.
“What?” Dream said. His voice left a soft puff of white in the air before them. “You don’t want to pick your own Christmas tree? It’s, like, like you don’t even have the Christmas spirit, George.”
George scrunched up his face like he was trying to scowl at Dream, but his eyes shined bright. “I’m too cold to have any type of spirit.”
Dream automatically slipped his arm around George’s shoulders. Just for a moment, while they were alone. And George leaned in, automatic too. They had had years at this point, and it still sort of shocked Dream every time at how well he fit in that space.

Summary
George opens his legs wider, and Dream positions himself like he’s actually fucking him.
Except he’s not, because there’s layers of fabric in the way and, somehow, the denial makes it all the hotter. He leans in close again, re-places his elbows on either side of George’s head as George whines into his mouth. Their bodies are inches away from each other, only touching where they both feel the most sensitive. He doesn’t understand how they got this carried away in such a short amount of time, how George can have such a strong effect on him without even needing to do much.
Or, sometimes, Dream feels nothing. George helps him feel everything.

Summary
Soap isn't used to fantasizing about someone with nearly a foot of height over him and girthier biceps than his own. He finds himself wondering what it would feel like to confront that wire-crossing pit in his stomach that makes him feel both inadequate around his lieutenant—and wholly, undeniably turned the fuck on.
So he channels that energy into SAS-approved homoeroticism-as-a-punchline flirting over comms. And Ghost flirts back, on occasion.
But Soap would never actually try anything.
Not really.

Summary
He wades in it now, eyes still open, fixed on the speckled ceiling, begging himself not to crave bomb blasts and artillery fire in his childhood bedroom. Although…there might be something beautiful about it all, Johnny supposes, those noises in the thick. The gasps in between discharge that say: I’m here, I’m a part of this song too.
After a near-fatal injury, John MacTavish finds himself back in his hometown in Scotland. Fresh off an untimely discharge, he's forced to cope with disability, his dysfunctional family, and the lingering knowledge that there are some things he's just not ready to leave behind...
