Summary
"What do we got?" Robby stepped forward as the paramedics pushed the patient into trauma three. Santos was already at his shoulder, pulling on gloves, while Whittaker hurried in behind them with a tablet.
“Sixteen-year-old female,” one of the paramedics reported. “Name’s Nicolette Rosetti. Collapsed immediately after performing. Blood pressure ninety over fifty, pulse one-thirty. Has been in and out of consciousness.”
The girl looked impossibly small on the stretcher.
Her dark hair was twisted into a ballet bun that had mostly fallen apart, and faint stage makeup was smeared under her eyes. Glitter clung to her cheekbones. Her eyes were closed, but her expression was far from peaceful.

Trinity Santos is friends with Joy Kwon. Victoria Javadi is friends with Emma Nolan. Trinity and Victoria are friends with each other. And both of their friends are terribly, horribly single, and in need of dates to an upcoming networking event.

Summary
Victoria slams to a halt in the middle of the floor, feeling like she’s been sucker-punched in the stomach by a brick wall with hands. She can only stare, because holy shit. Because that is Cassie McKay, and she’s here at Blue Moon, at the lesbian bar, the bar where lesbians go, holding a can of Diet Coke and leaning casually against the wall as she smiles down at a pretty, dark-haired girl who looks twenty-four at most.
Holy. Fucking. Shit.

you just can’t seem to escape one another, even when you both try to stretch the distance pulling you two together using the present or the past as an excuse.
