When new students arrived at Gotham Academy, they quickly learned three very important things about the school, which, the first week back, Charlie Gage-Radcliffe of that fall’s sophomore class helpfully wrote on the whiteboard in the student rec room:
1: Bruce Wayne, yes, that Bruce Wayne, donates an absurd amount of money to the school and so has his absurd amount of children on the premises.
2: Do not cross Principal Amanda Waller, and do not believe her when she says “if you come forward, you won’t be punished.”
3: Mr. Grayson of the math department and Ms. Gordon of the English department absolutely fucking hate each other.

It’s been two weeks. Hoseok has managed to survive two weeks of Kim Namjoon’s progressively darkening thighs and his cheek craters and his swooshy hair and that stupid laugh he does that makes him sound like a bleating sheep.
Yoongi looks over his shoulder. Stares. Slowly draws his gaze back to Hoseok. “Are we discussing the same man who tried to brush his teeth with sunscreen yesterday?”
“Ew, he did that?”
“Your voice says that’s disgusting but your face says you’re enamored.”
Hoseok presses his palms against his eyes until he sees colored spots. “Make it stop, hyung.”
(Or: Hoseok works at a summer resort and Namjoon is the newest lifeguard. Chaos ensues.)

Hoseok liked to think of himself as a pretty fun guy – yes, he worked hard and spent long hours writing or rehearsing when the need arose, but he also knew how to let loose on weekends. Plus he kind of had a reputation after turning up to a summer fantasy finals party wearing only sequined booty shorts, fairy wings, and a truly astounding amount of body glitter. Clearly, he didn’t have anything against dressing up, or drinking, or partying, or sugar, or fun.
Which was why it wouldn’t make sense to a lot of people that he loathed Halloween.
