    Crowley grinned wider.
    “Well, if I’d known that one day I’d get to do that to you... would have made all the crap I went through much easier. Would have grinned through it all.”
    The angel rolled his eyes.
    “Oh, I’m quite glad you didn’t know. The smugness would have been unbearable.”

    This isn't the first time Aziraphale has done something miraculous without consciously thinking about it, but it's definitely the first of this magnitude. How could he have even known it was possible? Heaven never came out with any sort of sex education manuals -- the very idea was preposterous. Not to mention dangerous if he and his favorite demon were caught. Nope: not possible, not safe.

    But how was he to know his body could put things on pause indefinitely until it WAS safe?
