Lorelai is only a little bit surprised. She should know, after all—when all else fails, when any given situation is at its breaking point, there's always fighting with Luke about it.

Summary
After trying to make his son relive his violent death in Ethiopia in hopes of bringing his other son back to life, it occurs to Bruce that he might, possibly, have made a questionable decision in his grief. Again. For once, he'd like to try to fix it before it's too late. Jason may have run away again, but he's still alive, so Bruce has to believe it's not too late. He goes to find him.
Finding him in bed with Roy Harper and Princess Koriand'r of Tamaran is an unexpected distraction.

Summary
When Chuck comes down with a virulent flu and makes himself impossible, Raleigh offers to step in to give Mako and Herc a breather, even though he's probably as welcome in Chuck's bunk as a new breed of kaiju. Chuck, however, is far more ill than he led everyone to believe, and Raleigh switches over to protective mode with a vengeance.
Shenanigans ensue. Like, a book's worth of shenanigans. I'm seriously.
