Well, if you haven't read the previous stories in the series, you should read those first, then read this.
I kinda hate most stories told from Bruce's perspective because I don't buy the granola hippie personality that usually shows up, but I am enraptured with this Bruce. He is bitter and lonely and gloriously complex. Also, I absolutely adore this Steve Rogers. All of the characters are so human and deep and utilized perfectly. Also, I think I want to be this Pepper Potts when I grow up.
Just do yourself a favor and read this.

During the war it was easier to suppress/ignore because hey, being shot at is quite the boner kill, but now he's in the 21st century and though they still happen, battles are rather less regular. As a result, well; let's say that Little Steve is suddenly "standing at attention" when not explicitly ordered to do so."
Steve respects Natasha as an agent and a person, but he also needs to stop looking at her when they are in public together because his body can't quite handle it and his uniform is very tight. The fact that Natasha's having entirely too much fun with Steve's noticeable problem doesn't help matters.

Holy shit, this is one of the most amazing things I've ever read, fan or pro; it's very easily my favorite fanfic ever written. It's deep and entertaining and heart-wrenching and life-affirming and so very in character.
It's very long (satisfyingly so! There are absolutely no extraneous bits that should have been edited out.) - you should download it to your favorite reading device and lose yourself in it. I just finished it, and I want to go back to the beginning and read it again. I was completely immersed in the story from the very start and became emotionally invested in the characters - they weren't just Clint and Natasha and Phil from the movies & fandom; they were three dimensional and interesting and nuanced and complex.
Even the Big Events from the comics & movies were suspenseful - I knew what was going to happen, but I didn't know how, and the author kept me riveted because the characters were so interesting. Following on that thought, this contains the absolute best-written meeting of Clint and Natasha that I've ever read and probably will ever read. You should read the story just for that alone. (Then the rest will just be a [super-awesome] bonus for you.)
I especially loved the beginning of the story, when Clint is with the circus, because of how his life was intertwined with music, how integral it was to him. For me, Music = Life; the author captured that perfectly.

At the best of times, Natasha isn't a heavy sleeper. At the Tower, it seems she can barely get through a night.
