The only possible road bump is his viewer's continuous demands to know who "Kacchan" is - thanks to Katsuki often coming into his room during streams and Izuku's repeated attempts to pull him into video game competitions - and, more importantly, if they're dating. As Izuku noticed the oil in the mapu tofu had begun solidifying as it cooled, he finally felt the first tear roll down one of his cheeks. It looked unappetizing, the color of the dish paling as it did when it was no longer fresh and warm. Izuku had worked so hard to make it exactly how Kacchan had liked it.
It would keep, he thought as more tears rolled down his cheeks. It would reheat well for a couple of days, he tried to assure himself. But today was Kacchan’s birthday, not tomorrow, not a couple of days from now, today.

The pretty stranger guzzles down his own drink before sliding the empty glass back to the bartender. "Fine. Come with me," he orders without an ounce of hesitation.
"Okay." The stranger stands up and heads for the door. Izuku follows.

Izuku is a total romantic. The problem is, every relationship he’s been in has left Izuku utterly heartbroken. When these break ups threaten Izuku’s mental health, productivity, and impulsivity on a grander scale, his best friend/therapist Ochako instills a twelve month heart lockdown, in which Izuku doesn’t date anyone for a whole year.
The goal is to let Izuku focus on his own worth instead of the love from others. It starts off perfectly fine - that is, until Izuku has a one-night-stand with Katsuki, his apartment building neighbor.
