He was with Han and Leia that morning, and he's still not sure whether that was a good thing or not. They were waiting in line, chatting like normal, but then a rough baritone called out "can I help who's next?" And that's when time as Luke knew it froze. At the cash register was maybe the dreamiest man that Luke had personally ever seen.

Vader’s surprised inhale wheezes through his respirator. He tries to press harder, but Luke only pushes back with equal force. Still, the blade makes no dent in his wrist, only a burn on the leather of the glove. In a quick move, Vader swings his lightsaber around to hit Luke from another angle. This time, Luke grabs the whole blade in his hand, locking it motionless.
“Beskar”, Vader gasps. “Where did you get that hand?”
Luke feels his face prickle with a sudden shyness. He has told plenty of people already, and considering what kind of a father he has, Luke hardly has a reason to care what he thinks. Still, the thought of telling his own father makes him nervous in a special way. Luke swallows and says it anyway:
“From my boyfriend.”
