Summary
They told him time heals all wounds, but forgot to mention the pain he would endure in the interim. Checo was told to endure and endured he has. Thankfully, he hasn't had to do so alone. As long as Max is there, he will never truly be alone.

Spa 2024.
A successful qualification in Spa for Checo meant hungry lions were in search for prey. Max congratulated his teammate with a heated look in his icy blue eyes. Checo, burdened by knowing what that meant, glanced at his watch. They had just enough time. Not a lot, but enough.
