It was always so obvious when it was Namjoon, when Jungkook's voice was dripping with adoration and awe and respect. As if Namjoon were somehow larger than life. Eren grinned, his green eyes glinting with something that made Levi’s stomach do a weird flip. “Don’t worry, I’m good at taming wild things.” He paused, only now realizing how his words sounded. “I mean, like, plants,” he added nervously, trying to backtrack. It was almost cute how he clearly spoke without thinking.
Levi’s eyebrow twitched. ‘Was this brat flirting?’ he thought. Because, well, it’s not like he’d mind. “Yeah, I bet you’re real good at that,” he said, his tone dry but his lips betraying a faint smirk. “With the plants, of course.” He leaned against the doorframe, noticing a faint pink flush spread across the younger man’s cheeks. Eren shot him a small, smug smile. This conversation was definitely not about gardening anymore.
Or, Eren gets hired to take care of Levi’s garden, but he ends up taking care of the garden’s owner instead.
