“Oh my God,” Michael says. “If you guys make me kidnap the fledgling prince of Big Pharma by myself I’m never taking a job with you two again.” Both Calum and Ashton just stay silent, because they know it’s not true. “And I wasn’t touching his hair. I was checking for trackers. Which you could’ve thought to do, after I did the hard work of knocking him out.”
“What was so hard about knocking him out?” Ashton says, motioning vaguely at where Luke is still passed out in the backseat. “He’s lanky.”
Maybe he looks harmless sprawled in the backseat of the hovercar. But now Michael knows better. “He bites.”
Luke's the heir to a pharmaceutical dynasty and Michael's a mercenary hired to kidnap him. A road trip ensues.Or: a vaguely-cyberpunk AU with a healthy dose of mutual Stockholm syndrome.

“Singer,” he continues, a minute later, because it feels apt. “In my—band. I play guitar. He sings. And plays guitar also.”
