Atsushi stared at him for a moment before Dazai realized that Atsushi, reasonably, had no clue what that was.
“It’s an American thing, I think. We were on some undercover mission and got these bunnies because we lacked childhood experiences.”
“We? Who is we?” Atsushi asked, and Dazai smiled.

Chuuya finds himself unable to speak — his words lodged in his throat — and instead listens to the thud of the brunet’s knees hitting the ground. He feels the way trembling hands clutch at his pant leg, pulling him towards the other.
“I’m sorry!” Dazai cries, fingernails digging into the ginger’s thigh.
Or; Chuuya says something hurtful, and Dazai breaks down because of it.

Ranpo interrupted him from his spot on the desk quietly. “It was me…”
Ranpo's shoulders were hunched and he was staring at his hands in his lap. He wasn’t meeting Fukuzawa’s, or anyone else’s, gaze.
“Is going to be forgiven because everyone deserves a second chance,” Fukuzawa quickly corrected. He had clearly been hasty before.
Or: Ranpo is Fukuzawa’s favorite. And everyone knows it. So they take advantage of that fact by bribing Ranpo (with food) to take the blame for things so Fukuzawa will forgive everyone
Or or: 3 times an ADA member passed the blame onto Ranpo and 1 time Fukuzawa found out.
