    So, immediately, there goes his plan to ignore Jaemin's entire existence. He steels himself and turns to Jaemin, plastering on his best customer-service smile that he has to bring up from the depths when a client is being particularly difficult.

    Soulmate, meet soulmate.

    Trying to find a way to break the soulmate bond, Donghyuck moves away for two years, until the pain of the distance brings him back home. Naturally, when he returns, he meets the very person he's been trying to avoid for all his life.

    Summary

    “It's just personal…” Mark tried.

    Donghyuck seemed to contemplate the excuse, getting Mark's hopes up that he would accept it. “Johnny used to tell us about his hook-ups all the time,” Donghyuck complained with just the slightest hint of a whine that told Mark he had that signature pout on his lips. It always got him what he wanted.

    That night was no exception. “What do you want to know?” Mark relented without giving it enough thought. Because how the fuck was he supposed to tell Donghyuck about sex he wasn't having.

    “I don't know… what's it like?” Donghyuck started.

    Or;

    Mark Lee talks a big game and almost definitely cannot back it up.

    It has been seven years, and Donghyuck has moved on. He has a stable life now, and bigger worries than some boy who broke his heart more than half a decade ago.

    Or, alternatively: After getting his heart broken by his childhood best friend, Donghyuck starts over and moves on, making a new life for himself. Fate, however, has other plans for him.

    Summary

    One time Mark saw Donghyuck opening the window late at night. However, his window was a tilt-and-turn type of window, and he loved opening it slightly, tilting it into the room, which made the gap quite narrow. Well, Mark thought it was wide, but when he tried to get in, he realized he was a thick boy. A thick bat boy. Only his head fit while the butt was left to hang outside. Mark had to try his best to free himself when he saw Donghyuck getting closer. Luckily, he managed to fly off before a stupid window could kill him. The human closed it so quickly, not even checking if the gap was empty.

    Mark is a vampire journalist who can't forget Donghyuck's blood ever since that one time he ordered a pizza with a way better side order—the delivery boy himself.
