Summary
Ben never died, the Umbrella Academy didn’t break up, and Reginald never sent Viktor to a private music institute, having found a way for him to contribute to the Academy instead.
It has been nearly a year since their Fathers passing. Luther, though trying to appear as the sure-headed leader of the family, is still trying to find his footing as he navigates life without his Father. It doesn’t help that he starts to notice small things that suggest Dad had prepared timid Number Seven to run the family business more than his Number One.
Viktor, having served more or less as his Father’s secretary and assisting him in keeping the Umbrella Academy and his other businesses up and running in the mans later years, spends most of his days doing the clerical work and fielding requests for the Academy’s help.
The Hargreeves are still figuring out who they are as the Umbrella Academy, as individuals, and as a family without their Father’s control. But their discordance is pushed aside when Viktor mysteriously falls ill, and not even Mom can say what is wrong. With a common goal, can they work together to save their brother?
