Summary

Summary
The 141 being snowed under with intel and digital tech they can't decipher, ask Laswell to send them Digital Specialist to assist them. She is not what Ghost expects and she triggers changes in his life that he never expected to experience.
This is a slow burn friendship/love story. I wanted to give Simon 'Ghost' Riley some much needed love, happiness and comfort. The story doesn't follow the events of the Modern Warfare stories, but does borrow details from canon.
This is my first attempt at writing for others, so constructive comments are welcome. The story has been living in my head for a year and only recently decided to write it down. I hope you all enjoy a different take on our boy Simon.

“Night,” Minho said.
“Don’t stay up too late, Hyung,” Seungmin said.
“I won’t,” Minho said.
He felt a tension in the air, like he knew Seungmin wanted to say something else to him but chose not to. Seungmin was good at noticing things. But Minho was adamant to keep his issues to himself, especially in this situation. Or at the least, the details to himself, for as long as he possibly could.

Lee Minho, as the person that he knew himself to be, wasn't anything out of the ordinary. He never considered himself special, or gifted or 'the chosen one' that everybody thrived to be, he simply lived his life following merrily his moral compass that navigated him perfectly, thank you very much.
He never would've expected for his cosy and mundane life to be thrown upside down by a sudden appearance of a peculiar boy on a boring and rainy Tuesday morning. All of a sudden, Minho has to keep up with the magical enigma that is now his housemate, chasing him alike the white rabbit down the weird labyrinths of his colourful world.
Just who the hell are you, Han Jisung?

Minho closed his eyes, guiltily giving in to feeling all the feelings and desires and wants that he hid from Jisung and his friends, his family and the whole world. He gave in to the feeling of Jisung’s whole weight against his body, the boy’s chest rising and sinking pressed close to his, his breath on his skin, their skin together where their arms and legs met. Minho got to feel it all physically now, but he couldn’t allow himself to give in to the fantasies crowding his brain, of what this could be if Jisung was like him, if he could feel the same.
Or, Minho doesn't dare acknowledge the feelings he has for his best friend, because Jisung isn't like him.

“You’re bleeding,” Minho whispers before he can stop himself.
“I’m-” the boy pauses, furrowing his brows and tilting his head at Minho, “yeah, but-”
He pushes off of his hands as he speaks to reposition himself against the wall from where he slid down. Minho’s stomach clenches when the boy lets out a tiny gasp at the movement.
“I need to get to this park. I’m supposed to meet some people,” the boy is interrupted by a fit of wet coughs. Minho wonders if the kid could even breathe properly. He takes a few rough gasps before continuing, “I must’ve overshot it...”
