Besides, it is true - since the day that Tsukishima had decided to befriend Tadashi, Tadashi's basically been accepted into his family. He's joined them for family dinners more times than he can count, received more gifts than he can remember. Whenever Tsukishima gets into trouble, Tadashi becomes the favorite brother, favorite son. He's even got his own mug right next to Tsukishima's in their cupboard, a matching Jurassic World set that they got at the premiere.
But even more so, Tsukishima has always shared everything he's ever received with Tadashi, wordlessly, automatically. Food, movies, video games. Wordlessly, automatically; whatever Tsukishima gets to enjoy, Tadashi does too. Hobbies, secrets. A Tsukishima only Tadashi gets to see, all to himself.

It’s a practiced motion, as if he's done this time and again, but you have watched him ever since he ran into the gym with no regard for how the doors slam open upon his arrival, and then trip unceremoniously into the hardwood floor, and you cannot ignore the way his hands shake as he tucks the plastic around the lower half of the burger before he gives it to you. There is no knife in sight, no sharpness to the way his thumb glided over the surface of the wrapper.
