Summary
Holster has played Assassins with the team exactly twice. It always, literally always, ends in complete disaster. No matter who’s playing, no matter when. It happened before Holster was on the team and it will happen after. Freshman year he nearly broke his nose, which was fine because the season had already ended. And then last year Shitty ended up with a black eye because Lardo punched him in the face during a sneak attack.
There are always smaller injuries too. Cuts and bruises from hiding and fleeing.
But they’ve never played Assassins just in the Haus before. Or in a day.

Someone has apparently gotten the bright idea to place mistletoe just next to the attic entrance. It hangs there innocuously, entirely unaware of its implications.
“Does this mean…”
“…that they’ve moved on from not knowing we’re together to still not knowing we’re together and trying to set us up?” He raises an eyebrow. “I didn’t see this coming.”
Ransom and Holster have been together since June, but they keep it low key. Maybe even a little too low key. Shenanigans ensue because, hey, it's awfully hard for the team to set them up when they've already been dating for months.

Jack Zimmerman, of the Falconers, doesn't know anything about cake, and will be the first to tell you that he feels wholly unqualified to judge a cake-making competition. At least Alexei is there to help ease things a little. Honestly, all he's really expecting is to be very awkward on camera for the entire segment, and to eat a lot of cake that's not really in his diet plan.

Bittle.” His haircut’s different, and he’s looking a little leaner, but Kent recognizes the guy (he’d cried on, embarrassingly enough, all those years ago) just the same.
“It’s, uh,” Bittle uncrosses his arms and huffs a little laugh like he’s just remembered a funny inside joke, “Zimmermann now.”
