Summary
It’s a bit hard to tell in the dark and with their tangling emotions, but he thinks they’re willing to allow him to stay for a bit.
But there’s something about it that’s off, a sour emotion in there somewhere that’s too stuck to anxiety for him to see properly. Roman and Virgil look nervous, and Janus looks… sure? No, not sure, he looks confrontational. Like if something goes wrong, ze’s willing to step in.
Patton’s stomach twists again, but he keeps eating, and everyone else does the same.
Or Things are better, but some things still need to be talked about. And while some things can’t be easily fixed, they can be worked on if they work together.
