A gorgeous brunette appeared out of the crowd, dressed in a ruffled beige skirt and an emerald scoop neck halter top with thigh-high brown boots on. "Mikasa seriously. Put the glass down. You're drunk." The girl scolded her friend before her bright grey eyes met Levi's onyx rimmed silver. The brunette gasped softly, manicured hand coming up slightly as if to cover her mouth in shock.
"Hey brat." Levi said casually. As if his heart wasn't hammering in his chest in remembered grief and pain. Tears welled up in expressive grey eyes and Eren threw herself at him with a half choked sob. "Levi!" She wailed.

Shinazugawa’s blade dug through the box, stabbing into the demon, and the high-pitched wail that rang through the garden was unbearable.
A pup was crying. Two pups were crying: Tanjiro and whatever was in that box.
When a pup cried like this, usually their parents came running, no matter how far away they were. It was a cry for help, only used when in severe distress or danger.
And for a second, nothing happened.
Then all hell broke loose.
Shinazugawa was sent flying, everyone else had fallen over in the process of whoever-it-was that’d rushed over. The box that contained the demon was placed down in front of that Kamado kid. The boy wrapped himself around it, protecting it with his own body as he sobbed.
As their daze cleared, they all realized that it had been Tomioka to rush to the kid’s aid, reeking of distressed, enraged omega.
But that didn’t make sense. Tomioka was a beta. Right?
To say that they were confused was an understatement.

It’s alright though, Ivan told himself, we still text everyday! The couple had indeed texted each other frequently, from the moment they woke up to the minute they fell asleep. They called sometimes, too, and it took Ivan his sheer willpower to not record his soothing voice. The gods had blessed him, he had a man with a voice so charming he was ready to kneel at his feet and let him step all over the rookie actor.
