"You fucking suck," Sakusa tells him, then shakes his head. He completely gives up using the wine glass and sips straight from the bottle instead. "Have we talked about frogs tonight? Or ferrets? Lets talk about them, please."
"I wish I were an owl so I could lay eggs," Bokuto tells Inunaki next to him.
"I thought I was talking about fun frog facts," Sakusa cuts in, comically put out.
"Oh. Sorry. Continue."
Atsumu watches Sakusa continue his tangent on frogs. He learns a lot of things while listening to Sakusa's smooth voice, hands gesturing aimlessly as he explains. Frogs are diverse, tailless amphibians, with permeable skin that allows them to breathe and "drink" water directly through their bodies. They are carnivores with teeth, capable of jumping over 20 times their height and using their eyes to help swallow food. As of tonight, Miya Atsumu might be hopelessly more than in-like with Sakusa Kiyoomi. Ah, fuck.
A text from Ushijima on Sakusa's phone leads Atsumu into believing they're dating. Obviously, the only option now is to spend all his time with Sakusa until he realizes that Atsumu's the better option. -

Six months after the death of Atsumu’s mother, Inarizaki’s reigning queen, he starts receiving death threats.
Kita, his royal advisor, is not impressed. Cue Sakusa Kiyoomi, someone who was decidedly not trained as a royal bodyguard, but as a top-ranking assassin, assigned to practically babysit the—in his own words, “bratty-ass motherfucker of a Crown Prince.”
Needless to say, both Atsumu and Sakusa want each other dead.

The call ends.

“‘S that the best ya can do?” There is a teasing tilt in Osamu's voice and a small smirk on his lips, undoubtedly meant for Atsumu, but his gaze stays intently on him.
Kiyoomi feels dizzy under the attention.
“Shut the fuck up, ‘Samu,” Atsumu hisses through his teeth, shoving a throw cushion in Osamu’s general direction before starting to kiss and nip at the column of his neck, exactly where Kiyoomi likes it, exactly in a way that has his legs feel like jelly.
“I bet I could do better.”

Summary
Miya Atsumu hated his job. Ever since a major injury benched him from ever playing volleyball again, he had to find a job with zero qualifications. This ended up being an assistant to a multimillionaire CEO, Sakusa Kiyoomi. After he was hired on the spot, he should have realized all of the red flags that surrounded the position. But, he was just happy to be working. Two years later, he regretted ever applying. But, he'd rather be unhappy and employed then forever job hunting. So, he swallowed his pride and played the little errand boy for the devil himself; his boss. The very boss that had the prettiest face he's ever seen, the very boss who's hands would fit perfectly around his body, and the very boss who was the most callous man he's ever met.
So, after a night out, multiple drinks later, and still upset about the events that played out at work that morning, Atsumu decided that Sakusa Kiyoomi needed a piece of his mind (even if he wouldn't remember it in the morning). One single email that enacted a string of events that Atsumu could have never seen coming.

Summary
