A lithe, scantily-clad blond man lies on his side, facing away from the door. There's a white sash wrapped around his eyes, and his arms are tied behind his back, forearms overlapping. It looks painful, even more so when he struggles in his binds, trying to turn over.
“Who is it?” he croaks, voice cool with a clear Veretian lilt despite his hoarseness, probably brought on by dehydration.
Fuck, it’s definitely him.

Summary
It is said that a story begins when someone goes on a journey or a stranger comes to town.
But winter is starting, and there aren't a lot of journeys to be going off on, not when the snow is this harsh and the pack is just settling down for the cold months ahead. Namjoon is busy keeping the difficult parts of his life in careful order: his relationship with his pack alpha father, his duty to the wolves that he will one day lead, his friends who have fallen in love despite the impossibility of it. He's doing a pretty good job.
And then Jimin comes to town, and the story begins.
(Or: future pack alpha Namjoon has to mate omega Taehyung in an arranged marriage, but Taehyung is in love with Jeongguk and Namjoon isn't in love with anyone. Jimin is found half-frozen on the outskirts of town, and when Namjoon takes him in and keeps him warm, they all end up in way over their heads.)
