“This is just like those videos,” Yangyang mumbles as he leans into Ten’s hand, sounding like he’s already falling asleep, “you know the ones.”
“Which videos, baby?”
“The stepmom ones, where the son gets hurt and can’t jerk himself off and she has to do it for him.”
Ten stares at him for a second before he has to swallow down the laugh in his throat.

“Sukuna,” he breathes.
The figure turns its head. Messy pink hair, long enough to cover the creature’s nape but not to hide the segmented dark markings running down his back, shifts in the wind. He catches the edge of a sharp jaw, pruned of the last vestiges of baby fat that used to be there.
“Not exactly,” says the voice of Itadori Yuuji with the body of Itadori Yuuji, with markings and power and two whole extra limbs that say this cannot possibly be Itadori Yuuji.
But when the creature rises, turning to face Satoru, the eyes that meet his are the brown of autumn leaves, not the red of fresh blood, and even the two half-open eyes under those are more amber than crimson.
Yuuji’s eyes, peering calmly at Satoru from amidst Sukuna’s telltale markings.
“Hello again, Gojou-sensei. It’s been a while.”

Yuuji’s grandfather is burning when the strangest man he’s ever met asks him to choose his hell.
“Will it be you?” Yuuji asks. “The one to kill me.”
There’s a brief pause before the response. “Probably. I wouldn’t entrust Sukuna’s vessel to anyone else, certainly not at full power.”
Something twinges in Yuuji’s chest at the assumption there. A duller clench follows—not quite guilt.
“No,” he says, finally looking up. “I mean now.”
Even with the blindfold—worth a sharp flare of confusion each time he looks at Gojou—Yuuji can tell Gojou’s surprised. He can see it twist into a frown too, and it’s somehow a kinder expression than all his smiles have been.
“Definitely then,” Gojou tells him. “I’m already here anyway. Just so we’re clear—you’re choosing to die now?”
When told to choose his hell, Itadori Yuuji picks the easier one—a clean death, then and there. He couldn’t have known that it was never really a choice.

Summary
In a universe where hybrids are regarded with respect and many live comfortable, luxurious lives, the last thing Soobin ever expected to encounter was an injured and terrified hybrid boy digging around for food in a dumpster.
Their meeting is brief and unnerving. Soobin's attempts to speak with the hybrid are in vain. The hybrid boy ends up running away, leaving a shocked and worried Soobin standing alone in the alley. As the days pass, Soobin finds it impossible to forget the boy and he becomes determined to meet him again.
