The pieces of the night falling together hits him hard like a high pressure hose. The clothes, the restaurant, the wine. Tommy’s foot against his under the table. Buck’s hand on his thigh. This moment, right here, Buck’s warmth and Tommy’s darkening eyes and—oh.
“We were on a date,” Eddie says finally, his voice cracking just a little at the end, and Tommy’s smile widens.
“Finally caught on, have you?”
“This is like the fifth date, Eds,” Buck adds, a bit of laughter in his voice as he looks up at both Tommy and Eddie.

“You ran away from me,” Miles says, breaking the awkward silence that was threatening to settle around them, “you kissed me and then you ran away.”
Miles has always been good at hiding his emotions, but his expression is absolutely steely now in a way that Phoenix has never seen it. He has no idea what Miles might be thinking, which is probably the scariest part of all this.
Phoenix swallows against the lump forming in his throat. “O-ob-objection?” he stutters out nervously.

Phoenix’s hands are starting to wander, fingers fiddling with the buttons highest up Miles’ shirt. Miles wants nothing more than to keep touching Phoenix, to have him right now, but he stills Phoenix’s hands, asking, “Shall we head back to my apartment, then?”
Phoenix’s reply is barely a whisper, his breath hot as the words ghost against Miles' skin and send a shiver running up his spine. “I was kind of hoping you could just bend me over your desk and have your way with me right here.”

“Do you want to stop?” Eddie asks, words slow and surprisingly steady.
The thing is that he doesn’t—Buck really, really, doesn’t want to stop and that’s the problem. He searches Eddie’s face, not exactly sure what he’s looking for, but Eddie’s impossible to read at the moment. All Buck sees is familiar brown eyes, pupils blown with want, and Buck can’t deny that he wants too.
Buck swallows thickly against the lump in his throat and shakes his head.

There were worse things in the world than spending three days working through the lingering effects of Scarecrow’s latest rampage, Hal was sure. For instance, having to ask Bruce for help. Also on the list? Having to deal with his feelings.
Hal looked at the contraption in his hand. It reminded him of nothing so much as an epi-pen, which he also had no idea how to use. “So you just… have this. On hand. Ready to go.”
“One doesn’t earn the coveted title of Mr. Contingency Plan by being unprepared,” Bruce told him, and Hal winced. He hadn’t meant for Bruce to overhear that, had he? Then again, he’d said it loud enough that any Martians left kicking it in their ruins had probably heard him, over Barry’s strenuous and utterly futile attempts to get him to pipe down, so he hadn’t exactly not meant for Bruce to hear it, either. “Instructions are on the package, and there’s a bathroom just down the hall to your left if you’d prefer to administer it in private.”
If Hal wanted someplace to get his shit together for a few seconds, Bruce meant.
