Summary
Mori sends Soukoku on a bodyguard mission with the requirements to 1. Protect class 1A and (later stated) 2. Drag out the UA traitor.
[Everything will be based on the light novels for Bungo Stray Dogs from “FIFTEEN,” to “The Day I Picked Up Dazai (Side A)”]
There is an audio reading for this fanfic on YouTube by the user @Lucia_Undergrove if anyone’s interested 🙂
WARNING: I am currently rewriting the chapters available. This is for clarity and to cover any potential plot-holes that may have accumulated. Once I am done, newer chapters should be pumped out on a regular schedule. 2/40

Summary
Dazai stands at the edge of the rooftop.
“...There something I regret, Odasaku. I’ll never get to read your novel!”
The black-clad figure disappears beyond the rooftop’s edge. A few seconds later, a dull crack echoes — bones smashing into asphalt.
***
Dazai opens his eyes and sees a bright light.
He survived? How? From that height?
“It’s a healthy boy.” A male voice said.
The woman with warm brown eyes smiled softly. “I’ll name you Osamu. Dazai Osamu.”
What!? No. No. NO. NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!

Summary
Dazai Osamu has been in a coma for exactly one year, seven months, and twenty-two days. But Death still refuses to take him.
Trapped in the space between worlds and unable to die, Dazai waits, killing what precious time he may have left and hoping—praying—that his family will pull the plug and move on. He doesn't expect someone to move into his old apartment instead.
Nakahara Chuuya, two-time Grammy awards winner, and freshly unemployed pessimist, has never believed in fate, much less the supernatural. But the lively—if a bit annoying—ghost of his apartment's previous tenant, might just change everything.

Summary
Dazai absolutely can’t do this Port Mafia shit anymore. Odasaku asked him to go into the light, into the side of good, and for all hell, it was his dying wish. Record expunged, thanks to extorting Ango, a long conversation with The President, and a few hours of final considerations, Dazai is going to join the Armed Detective Agency. “If both sides are the same, become a good man.” has played on a loop in his mind for so long.
Should he have told Chuuya first? Before sneaking off into the night like a runaway teen? Probably. He’s not feeling guilty or anything though, of course. Dazai doesn’t experience guilt, right?
**Dazai joins the ADA and Chuuya hunts him down the night he leaves. This action changes everything for everyone involved.**
***OR, for a more in depth explanation of what’s to occur here: A story where we thoroughly explore the parallels of what it means to become a part of a duo that’s labeled Soukoku, no matter the generation.***

Summary
Chuuya was not a hero. In fact, he was the opposite. But when a mission leads him to have to attend the UA, perhaps his beliefs will clash.
On the other side, Dazai will have to infiltrate the League of Villains while doing everything he can to stop the heroes' beliefs from poisoning Chuuya.
Who will win in the end?
