Don’t know why I haven’t gotten around to bookmarking this but here it is. Lowk don’t even know when I started reading this, maybe Dec of 2025. I absolutely love this. I remember I tried getting into it two times beforehand, but each time I was jst too bored to get through the first chapter. Sooo, when I kept seeing it recommended on TikTok, I gave it another go, only this time, choosing a random chapter in the middle.
I love the dynamics between everyone and I absolutely love Sae’s circle. The new gen 11 being stupidly rich kids jst living life is so fun to read. Honestly sometimes I look forward to the interactions between them over the interactions between Shidou and Sae. I’m way too lazy to write everything rn, but the top chapters that come to my head are chap (7?)rumors you’ve been seeing that leech) bc of the confrontation between the others and Sae abt him and Shidou. And chap 23(?)(the Fibonacci sequence of Sae Itoshi’s life) that chap was a masterpiece that I had the pleasure of staying up all night to read.
Overall I love the friendship dynamics and crazy vibes bc something is ALWAYS going on 😭. I also learnt a bunch of random things from this. Like the reason that bad eggs float is bc when they start going bad their shells become more (porse?) and absorb air, therefore making them float in water. And that aphrodisiacs thin blood and direct blood flow to a certain place. And a bunch of stuff abt art in that chapter where Sae is with Bachira’s mum in the art gallery (now that I think of it I like that one too) I learned abt a lot of different things that I probably shouldn’t know abt, but whateves.

this is the first time I’ve ever rlly given omegaverse a try and the way this author writes it actually doesn’t bother me as much as i thought it would.
i love all the sibling interactions between Rin and Sae and the late night balcony meet up’s between Sae and Shidou are so cute. I especially love that time when he just snuck into his garden (like the first time)

I lowk forgot to bookmark this when I finished it but here it is !!!
This is SOOO cute and honestly very rage bait-y in regard to how Sae is treated as the older sibling. Like omg I related to his experiences so bad and it was sad to see his efforts be completely disregarded by his mum. Like damn that guy had to grow up so fast.
Anyways I don’t remember everything but here are some memorable scenes:
- after Sae burns the oven and his dad sees the marks in his hands and tells him that he’s doing a good job of being a big bro (finally recognitionnnnn, after like 10 yrs)
- Sae is doing his hw when Rin comes in and spills water all over it. Holy moly did I understand how Sae felt and it was so annoying when his mum came in and yelled at HIMM.
- Sae woke up to Rin cutting his bangs, understandably was mad (he was more surprised, still valid.) and then their mum comes and is like “OMG SAE HE COULDVE GOTTEN HURT” BROOOOOO. Holy moly holy moly like Sae was literally 4 yrs old in that scene.
- when Sae and Rin were at their grandpa’s house. When Sae sat on the grass with his uncle and his uncle understood him, when they were eating breakfast and the grandpa was actually kind/understood Sae (I think, can’t rlly remember)
Anywhooooooo yes I got rage baited and yes was slightly salty when Rin was still like being babied at the ages where Sae was yelled at for not taking good enough care of Rin, but that’s only bc I have the experience of being an older sibling. In conclusion all roads lead to the Itoshi mum sucking, but she has a redemption arc later so it’s fine ig.
Sae and Rin are both so adorable sooo reread!

In the beginning, each chapter was a different short scene, and it felt like a collection of fluffy blue lock additional times. So, this turned into the fic I went to for fun, bc for some reason, it’s absolutely impossible to find anything I wanna read!
I never thought it would get that angsty tbh.I’m ngl in the beginning they felt wildly out of character, they still do, but it feels more natural now. Because since the author wrote it that way, like everything that they do rlly align with how the author characterizes them, yk?
Anywaysss my favorite chapters were probablly chapter 16 (only the last part where Rin wakes up and sees Sae there), and chapter 12. Those are just the ones that come to mind rn, but I also rlly liked how fluffy the first five chapters were.

Idk why I didn’t bookmark this sooner but here it is!
This fic is so so beautiful, genuinely. I don’t think I cried over a single thing more than I cried about this fic. This had me sobbing at alarming hours of the night/morning, and trying to be as quiet as possible. I love this fic so much. Not only is the plot good, but it’s actually well written, which I’m starting to realize is very rare. I loved the experience reading this the first time, and will probably love reading it a second or third time. The emotions this made me feel were so strong. Happiness, joy, sadness. It really is bittersweet.
This is just so beautifully written, and I love that it was my first ever Blue Lock fic.
