The door opens and a small body slams into his legs; and Tony discovers that the smell he loves the most is Peter’s shampoo. A woman with kind, brown eyes and a messy ponytail appears shortly behind, who Tony recognizes as May Parker. He’s used to seeing her with a pink and blue smock, not in some sweater and shorts. His past self would have stopped to see how beautiful she looked, but right now Tony only cares about the little crying bundle.
“Oh, bub” he picks Peter up, his knees protesting silently. He barely adjust him before Peter is wrapping himself around his body. “Hey, it’s alright. I’m here. I’m here”

“Wait, hold up. A random person gave you something, and you drank it? Never take candy from strangers, never take drinks from strangers— do kids these days not get lectures on stranger danger or—”
“She was a nice old lady, Mr. Stark,” Peter interrupted, leaning his head on the vent as his neck grew heavier. “She wasn’t gonna poison me.” Was she? Now that he thought about it, the cocoa had tasted a little funny. “She even offered me cookies.”
“Ah, well, if cookies were involved, that obviously makes her trustworthy,” Tony deadpanned. “What’s next, a handwritten invitation to her van? Geez, kid.”
Or: While patrolling as Spider-Man on Christmas Eve, Peter accepts hot chocolate from a little old lady in an attempt to warm up. Said hot chocolate had peppermint. We all know the story of how that goes...

Peter hadn't talked to Mr. Stark since battling the Avengers in Germany, three months ago. Which wouldn't be a problem, except that his class was now taking a field trip to Stark Industries, and he still didn't actually have an internship. Not to mention both Mr. Stark and Happy had been ignoring him.
Things were going disastrously— as expected— but at least the employees in one of the R&D labs seemed grateful for his help in solving one of their problems.
Then his day gets somehow weirder when Mr. Stark offers him an actual internship. Oh, how quickly things change.
OR: Peter's field trip to Stark Industries, except set in the time frame between Civil War and the start of Homecoming.

And can he keep it a secret from the Avengers that he's accidentally bringing his classmates home for a field trip?
And once he starts hiding things, keeping secrets, and lying, will he be able to stop?
