Something is different, and she ignores the taunts of Nancy Dre-ew that rise unbidden from the back of her mind as she once again grips the steering wheel like it's personally offended her, driving a little too fast for Hawkins roads at night and ignoring the rumble of the car in favor of focusing on the facts in front of her.

Summary
Most of the code I write is code that I can evolve on the fly. My code to delete me out of security footage, for instance, was something I'd built up over months, adjusting it to different proprietary SecSystems as I encountered them. But this was different: my comm and feed protections were what kept me from falling under anyone else's control, and I couldn't afford to have them be anything but perfect, which was why I was here. If I wanted to fix this vulnerability properly, and I did, there were things that I needed to do that I couldn't do without help.

In the aftermath of getting hacked, Murderbot asks ART to help it make sure it can't be hacked the same way again. As it turns out, applying and testing a security patch is a little more challenging than usual when the vulnerable system is, you know, your own brain.

“Conan-kun look! The moon!” Ayumi-chan gasped, splashing as she raised a hand to point at the sky. Conan glanced up, eyes widening as he saw what Ayumi-chan had seen. The moon was huge, bigger than it ever should have looked to the naked eye. It moved fast enough to be visible, edging over that hole in the rock. In a few moments, it would fit perfectly in that circle, exactly over the pool. Conan felt compelled to wait, to watch that happen. It was only a few seconds. They could spare that.
Conan and company end up in exactly the wrong place at the wrong time, and come back with fewer limbs, and a wider world than they ever thought possible to explore.
