Summary
Set three years after the reversal of the Sudden Oblivion (what they called the year humanity ceased to exist), Carol Sturka had finished the Wycaro series and released her new book, Starfall, a fictional story about a hive mind taking over an entire space colony. Carol's still getting used to her astounding success when she comes back into her life.
Zosia stood near the corner of the street, Starfall in hand, wearing a soft, pale yellow shirt and jeans—more casual than Carol ever remembered seeing her. Her dark hair fell just above her shoulders, slightly shorter than before, and her brown eyes seemed to light up as Carol met her gaze. She appeared to be trying, and failing, to contain her smile. It grew as Carol walked toward her, which she didn’t realize she was doing until she was so close it was unbearable. There was nothing to do but embrace her, which Carol did without thinking, the reality of it sinking in only when Zosia’s voice—soft, unmistakable—reached her.
“Hi, Carol.”
She remembered.

Summary
“I didn’t keep most of the memories. Other people’s memories. I get flashes of big things, births, deaths. Except about you.”
Carol feels the confusion slip onto her face. Nervousness creeps up her spine again. “Me?”
“I know everything that anybody has ever thought about you, Carol. Every memory. Every feeling. Helen. Your ex-girlfriends. Your dentist. It’s like I have a Carol encyclopedia in my head.”
Carol had thought that she was done experiencing fresh horrors. What a nightmare it is to realize that she is not. “Oh, god.” She says.
“Oh, god,” Zosia agrees.
After they manage to break Zosia free of the hive, Zosia and Carol try to navigate the field of landmines that is their relationship.

Cold stone against her cheek, against her bare arms. Cold air. Cold silence surrounding her. It is her, twenty-two empty seats, and that cloying silence.
She knows where she is. She can guess why she is here.
She can’t bear to think about it, not yet.
After her death, a Dreamer wakes in Tel'aran'rhiod.
Or, a post-finale fix-it that follows the path laid out by the books, except where it won't.

Summary
Moiraine reaches a hand towards Siuan's and taps it. "Stop it," she says gently, a smile tugging at one corner of her mouth. Her own dark hair is loose around her shoulders and curling softly at the ends, a pair of gold wire-rimmed glasses framing her sapphire blue eyes. The sight of her is so endearing that Siuan wants to simply grab her and kiss her.
Though of course, she can't. Even though she wants it more than anything. Because Moiraine clearly thinks that they're just friends, even if she hasn't explicitly said anything about it.
That thought still doesn't stop her from wanting to kiss Moraine anyway. While Moiraine continues working, Siuan secretly steals glances at her- taking in every detail of her, from her beautifully high cheekbones to the cute little slope of her nose and her perfect skin. Lower still, to the contours of her jaw and neck, the lines of her collarbones, the curve of her waist. She could stare at Moiraine for hours, and would never tire of doing it.
The same smile flits across Moiraine's face as she notices Siuan looking at her. "What?"

"Moiraine Sanche," Siuan chided. "You need to stop blaming yourself."
Moiraine's face crumpled then, and Siuan reached for her, holding her close, until her shoulders stopped shaking and her breathing slowed.
"I love you, Moiraine," Siuan said, taking both of Moiraine's hands in her own. "So much. If I could, I'd switch places with you in a heartbeat. I know I can't, so that's all I'm going to say about it. But I just thought I'd tell you. If it's any comfort."
