He places her garments with the rest of them, moving with a patience that Rey can’t replicate. His cadence is soothing and enticing, and it makes her head fuzzy.
“But color me uncouth, I’d call it outdated,” Kylo drawls, voice so low Rey almost feels it through her veins rather than hears him speak, “I want clean clothes as my trophy. I’d rather not miss a drop.”

“You'd said you owed me a debt,” Rey echoes. The temperament she sensed of this man was... odd, to say the least. She did not perceive any ill intent. There was no perverse leer, no sadistic aura. But he was dangerous. He was unquestionably, mighty dangerous, and she could feel it in her marrow like a rabbit staring at a wolf.
But he wasn’t trying to hurt her.
