Some people thought the end of the world was biblical.
When all the alarms went off, some people, in their own madness, believed them to be the seven trumpets of God. “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.”
She didn’t blame them, not most of them anyway. To the confused masses, crying out for salvation, it sounded an awful lot like what happened.

The way he bent over and looked into the camera made Schlatt clench his jaw. There was a strong feeling rising in him. It made him want to devour the boy. He licked his lower lip and pulled it between his teeth.

But Wilbur is a ball and chain in the middle of the sea, slowly but steadily dragging himself down to the ocean floor with Tommy unknowingly trapped inside his cuff. It’s unfair that Tommy has had to drown with Wilbur for so many years, desperately trying to swim both of them back to the surface. It’s fruitless, and Tommy wonders sometimes if it would be better to just cut the chain that binds them together. To let Wilbur sink on his own, while Tommy heads for air.
He could never do that though; as much as he wants to. He’ll let Wilbur sink them both, and Tommy will swim and thrash as the surface grows more and more distant. Hoping and wishing for a lifeboat. For someone to help them to shore, and to pull Tommy’s freezing body into their warm, loving arms and drape a towel over his wet shoulders.
He thinks Phil might be that person, Techno too. Tommy wants to let them be and he wishes for Wilbur to want that too.
OR: Wilbur and Tommy are brothers in the foster system. Wilbur is struggling with addiction, Tommy is always left to pick up the pieces. But now with Techno and Phil here, hopefully they’ll be able to help. (Only Wilbur does not want help.)

(Yes the title is from sofia the first, yes I'm laughing at it, I find it funny-)
In which Phil has created the Antarctic Empire from the ground up and takes in Techno and Wilbur along the way, and raises them while also ruling his kingdom. Tommy, sixteen, lives with Tubbo in an orphanage, the two of them running around in the cold streets of their town.
After a hectic day of getting separated from Tubbo, getting into a few fights, and ending up in an entirely new town, he comes across Phil, and saves him from an assassination attempt by smashing a plate over someone's head.
So then both Techno and Wilbur decide to see who this kid is, and Tommy sure is endearing, in the way that the first time they spy on him, he starts a fight in an alleyway over a bag of cookies.
(and then Tommy basically gets kidnapped into the royal family, but like, legally, y’know?)

After Thanos erases half the life on earth, Peter is left behind on Titan with Nebula as Tony is Snapped. Once getting back to earth, Peter learns two very important things:
1. May is gone, too.
2. Tony has left Peter as the heir to Stark Industries.
After getting taken in by Pepper, Peter has to embrace the lie that the world has been told- Peter is the secret son of Tony Stark, in order to stop a hostile takeover from the Board of Directors.Between that, Pepper’s pregnancy, trying to ask MJ to prom, a weird kid from Tennessee inserting himself in Peter’s life out of nowhere, and having the fate of the Avengers dropped into his lap after learning Captain America was Snapped as well, leaving behind Sam and Bucky, Peter’s fairly certain some god above has it out for him specifically.

Tucked away in his tower, the young prince watches the world move on without him, watches his family welcome two new princes into their arms, and yet reject him when he cries desperately from nightmares or shivers from a painful wound.
"Wilby?" The child had murmured, all curious and hesitant at once. He was tucked in his older brother's lap, watching as his other sibling sparred with their father. "We'll always be together, right? Forever and ever?"
Wilbur smiled. "Of course, Tommy. Forever and ever."
The Hanahaki rising in young Theseus' throat says otherwise.
