Something about that changed the mood of the two of them. Rembrandt wriggled away, looking up at her with wide eyes, so close that Ajax could have kissed her forehead just by moving so slightly. So ridiculously close. They were one person in the rain, they were a self-contained collection of lights. Or something. Ajax wasn't sure. She was trying not to breathe too much. Slowly Rembrandt's eyes flicked to her lips and back up, just as quick, almost guiltily.
"What do you want me to do?" Ajax asked, voice low.
