Summary
It's all exhaust fumes and leather jackets on hot summer nights.
Closed-off streets and abandoned parking lots full of cars, either showing off their new engines and paint jobs or doing 200km down a quarter-mile track.Regulus and Sirius Black are well-known street racers, both brothers having been disowned from their wealthy family, now living off the adrenaline from a 10-second race. That could either give them the thrill of a life-time or take it all away in a blink of an eye.
Both Black brothers have their admirers, people either jealous of their cars, looks or lovers. Remus Lupin and James Potter just so happen to stand out from the crowd.

Summary
Regulus Black was 16 when he was drafted for war, a mere child, went off to war, to never return the same, but it's all okay with some worthless pieces of metal strapped to his chest, covering the bullet wound.
Sirius Black was 18 when he was drafted for war, he was also 18 when he learned he would serve his country alongside his little brother. He was then 19 when his little sister also joined the war. With the same guarantee as everyone else on those battlefields, they would either fight and go home or die on those battlefields.
Regulus is now 20 and Sirius is 22, and they've been further than hell, they've been through a war. And now they have another threat to erupt on their doorstep.
All thanks to a few pieces of paper, with all of the information of the world.
Information that could change their lives and everyone's lives around them.

Now on the ground, Regulus’ head was spinning even faster than it had when he had fallen. All he was aware of was that he wasn’t dead and that the person who had saved him was gripping him very hard, like he was afraid to let him go. “Regulus. What the fuck?” Even if they had already landed on solid ground, James didn’t let go of Regulus. In fact it felt like he was gripping him even harder.
“Potter, let go of me.” Regulus knew that James was strong— knew he was way stronger than him— still, it surprised him when he didn’t soften his grip even when he started kicking and punching him.
“Not until you tell me what the fuck you were doing up there in this weather.”
“I was training, you fucking idiot.”
“That’s not true and you know that,” James held him even tighter. "And don’t say it was just an accident, Regulus. You must have known that it wasn’t safe to fly in this weather, any sane person would have turned back to the castle.”
“Well, you were also on a broom if I remember correctly,” Regulus hissed.
James' fists grabbed Regulus’ shirt with more force and stopped letting Regulus hit him. “Because I was saving your fucking life, you twat.”
“I DIDN’T WANT YOU TO DO THAT.”
