Summary
Paintbrush curls into themselves, the heat blistering under their skin making them practically incoherent, unaware of any sensations outside of their own body. Fabrics of pillows and blankets rub against their overheated skin, but it doesn’t feel like enough. Nothing does. The burning is something that they cannot satisfy, an ache underneath their skin that they were not prepared for.
Going into heat early was not something that Paintbrush had anticipated, but with their negligence regarding taking their suppressants and their current circumstances, maybe they should have. As the community had settled down and everything felt warm and comforting, feelings of domesticity and nesting must have brought on Paintbrush’s heat earlier than scheduled.
OR: Paintbrush goes into heat early, and they can't hide their infatuation with Lightbulb in such a state. (Lightbrush A/B/O AU.)
