Katsuki feels the guilt build in his chest, he knows that he fucked up. He’s always fucking up, “Me- Fuck. I’m sorry, Izuku. I didn’t know what to do, I only did it because you wouldn’t. You’re too damn good for that, too kind and I didn't deserve it. You wouldn’t-”
“What makes you think that?” Izuku asks, “If I wanted to break up with you, I would’ve. I love you, Katsuki, I-”
“You love me,” Katsuki intercepts, not letting him finish whatever he’s about to say because there's only one thing on his mind, “you love me, that wasn’t past tense, you still love me?”
“Of course I do,” Izuku answers, as if it was the dumbest question Katsuki could ever ask.
