She hands him two credit cards and a burner phone. “I got a new Script for me and the girls, so we’ll be heading out as soon as I can rouse them out of bed. We might be away for a week or so, so I need someone to keep an eye on Bladie. Could you do that for me?”

Summary
For Freminet, taking the brunt of what he thought was an acid attack aimed towards Spina di Rosula's boss was nothing more than a split second decision. He wouldn't call himself a hero by any stretch of the imagination, and he wouldn't say he led his life with noble and virtuous intentions either...
...but when the urge to help someone comes to him, he ponders little over it. That's just what a good person would do, and Freminet desperately wants to be a good.
(Still, maybe he should have paid more attention to just what was being splashed.)
OR
Freminet dissolves into water. That really should have been the end of it, but it seems like the ocean wasn't keen on letting him go yet.

An ambush and ensuing shootout cause Wolfwood to have a panic attack and nothing he tries or does seems to be able to get him out of it. Not until they make their way to shelter and he can find the smallest, most enclosed space to hide himself away inside of.

Too much, too bright, too loud, too fast.
Everything is happening all at once and then not at all and it is as if his body isn’t getting the memo. Some sort of messaging system has gone rogue within him and every single signal that is being sent from his senses to his brain is being translated wrong. It feels as if he is going to die, as if he is already dying, and nothing can be done to stop it. Every breath he takes feeling closer to inhaling fire and ash, cloying in his lungs like the very air that is supposed to sustain him is instead actively seeking to choke the very life out of him.Bookmarked by tinyhoneybees

It's an addition Cyno doesn't need, no matter how helpful Alhaitham can be, but though the company's better than expected, the complications only get worse from there.
