He didn't mean to start stalking Ned. It had just happened.
After a few days, it finally hits him that any rational person would see it that way.
Ned didn't know so did it matter at all, if his sweaters went missing, if his back up glasses found their way to Peter's home where he can put them on and see nothing but blur?
So what if he watched him sleep? It was stress relief- watching his chest rise and fall, after a terrible day or a horrifying dream.
On a particularly rough day, he'd actually made a nest, right outside Ned's window. Still even he knew that was too far.
Those are the days Peter tries to keep to a minimum. Still his desire to see him would usually outweigh any rational thought.

“Jeez, you really are sick.” Will muttered and Mike choked out a laugh.
“‘S just my luck.” He murmured, ignoring the way his head spun when he lifted it from the toilet seat.
Even under the harsh white light of the bathroom, Will still looked good, his honey brown eyes furrowed in concern and lips slightly parted. He was beautiful, and Mike wanted to bite him.
He recoiled a bit at the thought but now that he had thought it, it wouldn't go away. He could imagine it, digging his teeth into Will’s wrist, blood beading from the teeth marks faster than he could lick it up. The rushing in his ears got louder, twin heartbeats thudding in his ears and Mike turned to heave into the toilet again, not even bothering to stop the sobs that were ripping through him.

Will Byers is a ghost.
He doesn't remember most of his life. He knows he killed himself. That was apparent when he was watching his own memorial in the school gym. Other than that, it's all a blur.
Oh, he also runs a blog. A mysterious blog called the "Spirit Weekly". In the deepest corner of the school's attic, he found a magic computer he can write on. Now, he listens to people's drama and posts it for the whole school to read. He's not evil. He's just bored. It's boring being a ghost.
Mike Wheeler lost his best friend over a year ago. He feels dead. He would be lying if he said he hadn't considered following right after him. He couldn't do that, though. He couldn't do it to his friends and family. Not like Will did.

After an overdose, Dazai promises himself that everything will be normal. He got a kind of second chance, so he will take it. He won't allow his thoughts to take over again.
It's all good, but why does this knife look so appetizing, and the skin of a colleague so white? Why is it that when the blade cuts through vegetables, the face of a teacher from school years comes to mind? Why does he feel the warmth of someone's throbbing artery under his fingers?
And those eyes. Dead, and yet there is a strange fire burning behind them. Dazai feels its heat on him, and for some reason, falls in love with the smell of burning tissues.
